Thanks... when can I pick it upGot the parts mostly cleaned up between jobs at work. The big media blaster was not functioning properly so I had to resort to the small sand blaster like some sort of neanderthal... how do they expect me to do quality car restorations on company time under these conditions?!

Installed my 4speed bellhousing and clutch on a 2f motor for my 74 FJ40. Cleaning the outside of the transmission and getting ready to paint it.
i’m getting ready to do this too. did you use the stock transfer case or change it out to the one already mated to the 4 speed. any drive shaft length adjustments needed?[/QUOTE
Going to mate it with a 4speed transfer case not sure yet regarding the driveshaft. I'll let you know when I get to that point if I remember.
Did what I could to chip it all off to minimize mess. Then started using flap disks to clean the rest off along with the rust.

Now it's rust free and ready for filler, until I muster the extra money to have a door skin put on.

This is a glimpse into my future!
I'll definitely be needing a door skin, at least on the driver's side. The inner lip is completely rotted out.
What's a door skin, guys?
Its essentially the outer lower shell of the front doors. They come apart at the two bottom halves, inside and outside and upper frame.
