While my 45 is down with 'unique ' dizzy issues, I decided to pull the left fender and take care of a bunch of little things I'd put off. First and foremost was grinding the two remaining rivets off my stock steering box pedestal, considering my Saginaw conversion has been on for almost ten years now.

Give a look around. Left rear motor mount ready to be snugged up again. Check. Shock lower bushing not snug any more. Replace. Drill out broken bolt in frame where fender support attaches.

What's this? Eeeek!!!:eek::eek::eek:

Brake hose has been rubbing on tire and has worn to the cord. Deja vu. @land_cruiser_junky lost his LV the same way.

Alternator wire chaffing on the fender skirt.

Thanks

If you are interested in contacting me, please leave a VM at my shop and I will call you as soon as I can. I try very hard to limit PMs to socializing.

While I have the fender off, I figured I do some touch up to the road side. So I start scraping off road grime and what do I find. TONS of original paint!

What do you do for international customers?

Colour graded it! Well, technically I oversaw the work. And technically it's @sneaky's Landcruiser. But it did happen this week and it was done, so it satisfies all criteria of the thread, right..? :D

@cult45 : Your images make me think of a Dos Equis commercial. . . are you applying to be next in line for "the most interesting man in the world?"

Great pictures. . . like a silent movie telling a story.

Edit: Not sure if you get Dos Equis down under. . . when I was there it was all Four X or Victoria Bitter. . .

What do you do for international customers?

I have an informal arrangement with Sonny at FJ Parts for international orders. It has worked well for a while now.He has a lot more patience for the paperwork and navigating the webs than I probably ever will.

You can order thru him, and he sends me funds and a shipping label. It keeps my life simple, which is a priority for me.

If I was then by the nature of ego then I wouldn't be the most interesting man in the world ;)

The images are from a short I shot last year. Will be released soon! I'm pretty excited. A 45 in a film! Yes please!!

I know of the ad, but not of the beer. Next time you're down here steer clear of VB and try a beer not made entirely of the dregs of other beers o_O

These are the things I remember, put rocker supports in after I tacked in some square tubingView attachment 1404120 Just to make sure it didn't move, wow that pic is bad... patched some more holes, wire wheeled some, and beat out a few dentsView attachment 1404121 here's a before shotView attachment 1404122 this is from yesterday,View attachment 1404123 I hope to get the 2 captured nuts for the tools, the d/s seat pedestal nut plate, and the body mounts made for the main beam today

Coming along great! Like the bike you managed to catch in the background (a little bit Easy Rider style) Ride a BMW F800 myself, always a toss up as to whether to go riding or driving, either one beats walking:)

Well i got scammed on a deposit for a 40 tub for a future project of mine hahaha.

Long story short guy dupped me for $100 to hold it till i could go look at it in a week gave me all the right answers then when the e-tranfer cleared he went radio silent. Its 6hrs from me so im not going to try to find this guy. I will be sending my minions to blow up his phone for the next week or so. I did a better write up in the bad seller area. He isnt a mud member...
