If it works well then I’d cover the shipping and then can hand it off to the next guy in this area that needs it. Message me and we will work it out. Thanks!
I might steal this idea if I ever get to this stageI’ll send you a pm in the next couple days. Depending how soon you need it, I think I’m heading that way end of November and could bring it.

THe lv is the holy grail land cruiser for me. with the fj55 close behind it. I love my 64 fj40 though.I finally got over to my son's house on Saturday to run the valves for the first time since I built and installed the engine nearly five years ago. While I was doing it, I parked the LV next to it to compare. Look how much longer the LV is next to the FJ40.
Oh... I had help. My 3 year-old grand daughter just had to be involved. Yeah, she was a big help.

I've never seen an LV in real life, iirc.THe lv is the holy grail land cruiser for me. with the fj55 close behind it. I love my 64 fj40 though.
Thanks! Owning it is an experience in itself. My wife gets embarrassed with all the attention it receives when she's with me. We've had people get out of their cars at stop lights to take pictures. The lv is the holy grail land cruiser for me. with the fj55 close behind it. I love my 64 fj40 though.
Watching. One step closer ditching the Weber.
Different valve cover was easier than finding the right air cleaner so picked this one up and gave it a wee polish. Waiting on the mail and should have everything I need to swap over to Japanese goodness.

I’ve come to loathe my Weber.Watching.
As I don’t hate my Weber, it does leave some to be desired. And a factory air cleaner would be nice.
Says the guy helping me to install a Weber.I’ve come to loathe my Weber.

Yours is a diagnostic tools.
Mine is home for demons.
It’s amazing you can find such specific and on topic memes.
I’ve come to loathe my Weber.
Yesterday, taking my son to school, it ran fantastic.
Barely drivable on the way home.
The way the throttle links to the carb is just downright stupid.
Speaking of throttle linkage…
I’m kind of stuck in this dept. I need an off the shelf solution to get me by until I can gather the parts and funds to either go full mechanical linkage or cable.
Any one have any thoughts here? I searched and it’s kind of like asking for Weber tuning advice.
The Lokar 1034 adapter and some sort of throttle cable bracket is first up to bat.I was curious how you will do the throttle linkage.
Mine is a 69 so cable and it’s super simple to get Weber.

Low water, high turbidity. This is just a seasonal perspective change, even though it felt like summer. I love going out to the desert, because up in the mountains, there is little perspective, it is so often obscured by trees. In the city, most of it is covered-up with a noxious, invasive canopy. But, from the path across the valley, the grand vistas of the mountains, all lit-up with fall colors, that was amazing. The goal is the river, but, I'm satisfied seeing all the scenery along the way.
Shape, form, texture, and easy abstraction. It is the difference between making a photograph, and taking a photograph. It is rare to find colors working in harmony. With grayscale, you'll only need to do framing and composition for it to be something to get excited about. Cameras change the experience, as does sharing images and videos. So in that image, I was able to remove the landscape from the familiar for a second so I can not focus on the absence of beaver, and the presence of metallic-grey Russian olives trees as they chemically weather the rocks and soil that they are rooted in, perhaps staining the stream just slightly. I was able to record something other than my actual experience of seeing beer caps and someone's lost sock, or tires and domestic-life of all kinds which left tracks in the sand and mud.Poetic.
Curious, would you mind sharing your affinity for the grayscale?
