FJ40-
Drove her to get the EFI settled in. Seems to be taking a while to get the bugs worked out. Every time I drive it it's a different bug. Rough duty having to drive it just to get these issues worked through, but someone has to do it.
Patted her and told her I love her.
Installed new LED headlights.
Ordered new seatbelts.
Ordered new windshield washer fluid pump/reservoir.
Ordered Dakota DIgital instruments.

FJ Cruiser-
Sat in her and told her I still love her, and that the Tundra will never take her place.
Promised her I would drive her to work this week if the weather is decent.

Tundra-
Installed new floor mats and cleaned her.
Ordered new Carhatt's.
Told her I love her.

It's tough having five Toyotas. But I suffer through as best I can

Lmfao!!!!! I do the same thing!!!!!!!! I DD my fj cruiser and if I see a nice old car, think about other cars, or think about some of the newer cars I’d trade it in for I instinctively pat it on the dash and say “it’s ok, I still love you, your a good vehicle “

Made a trip to the fabric store, spent $9.00 on "premium heavy" felt (with coupon, of course duh), and voila! New headliner. I know, not for the purist, but looks good for the $$$ and should dampen a slight amount of cabin noise hopefully.

Nice - been thinking about doing something similar. do you notice any decrease in noise?

Looks nice. What glue did you use?
3M 90 spray. I pity the person who has to remove this headliner. It seems like it stuck REALLY well. The 90 spray is labeled to be heat resistant also.

I haven't had time to drive it yet, however my blueooth speaker sounded noticeably better than before inside the cab while I was working. It sounds promising , but I'll report back after this weekend.

Hooked up a temporary battery to test some electrical. Some of the best money I spent on my build was sending my wiring harness to @Coolerman back in 2019 for a full service! So far everything works as it should! Thanks Mark, your work is very detailed and priceless! Hoping to start the sniper install next week but might hire that part out😳

If you installed the harness, the Sniper install is a breeze. You run into a snag, many peeps in here to help.

Filled her up with the good stuff. Strange that I live in an area that is very dense with boat owners and there have been, until recently, only 2 places that have ethanol free fuel. One place went out of business due to Hurricane Sally. It had 89 octane ethanol free. So I went to the only other place which is 13 miles away. It has 93 octane ethanol free.

So, with the wheels off and getting their day at the PC spa I’ve been walking past my 40 up on the stands and starting to think about all the new things I want to do (you all aren’t kidding...this is a journey of a continued “what can I do next”). I was thinking it would be good to clean up and paint the axle and other under carriage, but seems like that is a body off restoration type of thing - no? What are your thoughts on getting under and brush coating (something like a POR 15) while the body is still attached..? Pic below as an example of what I’m talking about. I just want to take care of my new toy. 😎

If you are careful and meticulous I bet you could do most of your frame this way👍

I don’t think you even have to get that fancy. I painted on with a brush but did not show brush marks👍 Rust oleum Gloss black has held up incredibly well on my frame. But I am in Arizona and it is garaged as well. All in the prep👍

Added a Vehicle Emission Control Information decal under the hood. Filled in the last hole on the dash and received a fresh Heater Control Indicator light from @ToyotaMatt. Sometimes it is the little little things.

Good deal. I may try it out in a few places just to see. Thx!
