Looks great !

Thanks. Some amount of steering wheel vibration at 60+....taking it back to them to have them re balance...nothing dramatic and I don't expect it to be silky smooth like stock....but still...they can do better.

I had it as "We really need sliders...."
It's probably more like "Dad, let's eat cookies and go camping". But sliders are definitely on the list. I really want to do a 2 week trip out west next summer and sliders will be on the prep list for that for sure. For local trips that are tough enough to need sliders, my FJ40 with 35s and sliders etc is more than adequate, but it's not so good at towing a camper or driving for 8-10 hours with 2 kids and 2 dogs. Different tools for different jobs...

Perhaps it is brighter and again a personal preference. It does not blind oncoming drivers as I have seen brand new trucks with bright lights as described. Stick with what y'all are comfortable with.
You didn't read and comprehend my post. Of course it is brighter but that is not the issue. What I am saying is retrofitting LED/HID lights in a reflector/non projector housing designed for Halogen lamps doesn't give you any control over where the light is projected. I am not against brighter lights as long as they are used in the correct application. Brand new trucks have the correct light technology for the headlamp housing they are installed in.
Putting the same type of lights in a older vehicle not designed for them will blind oncoming traffic. I also see idiots using off road light bars on public roads because screw the oncoming traffic that has to deal with them right?

This is correct. You MUST use the correct housing for the lamp type used. I saw this a lot with the guys using LED/HIDs in non-projectors in their RAMS and it was absolutely horrible how they blinded oncoming cars. Most got smart and swapped the entire housing out with the one that is designed for their LED/HID lights.

Modern vehicles use LED/HID in projector type housings to keep light in check above a certain height while focusing light onto the road instead of in oncoming cars faces. It's focused light...Absolutely annoys me when I see some yahoo running down the road a night trying to look cool with super bright light splashing EVERYWHERE except where it should be...on the road directly in front of them. At the end of the end of the day, it's an incomplete job that is annoying to the general public. This is how we end up with more laws on the books...big brother has to step in get it under control. And believe me, these yahoos are easy to spot. It's OBVIOUS the lights on their vehicles were not meant for it.

If you think they are bright and better...just wait until you get the right housing for them....EVEN BETTER and not wasting light.

That's the finished product and I painted it in place, nothing removed.

Could handle the big chrome piece

License frame was on the rig when I got it
what is your ?

Figured it would read J-200 Land Cruiser instead of Cruising...but I might just be reading into it too much :)

I didn't have to shave the studs. I talked to the folks at Wheel Adapters, Wheel Spacers, Hub Rings, and much more! | Motorsport Tech
They were familiar with the OEM LC specs and custom made.

Thanks for the heads up on pedal commander. It does seem to rev up higher than needed and I'm sure it isn't going to help with MPG's when in sport modes. I'll probably turn off or look at return options. I don't need the extra wear and tear.
BTW - I returned the Pedal Commander and put the $300 towards some new mats and starting to upgrade the interior bulbs to LED. I can't believe Toyota didn't add better lighting inside, especially the buttons on the center console and the driver seat memory settings..

Nice. Where did you get the black hitch fill in piece?
It's the stock cover, I cut it out with a dremel and painted it with truck bed liner. Works great and I like the look.

I had the oil changed...I hit 1K miles. I'll do it again at 5K, then at 10K will get on the normal schedule.

They made it right...back to silky smooth...
