I might be interested if you still have them after I get my pay out check from the insurance company. Depending on shipping costs and where you live compared to me. please don't hold them on my account.:D

Finally had it washed inside and out and removed the yellow lamin-x film on the fog lights. Got tired of the yellow look.

Just drove to Charlotte to grab another set of Rock warriors so I can have a correct full size spare...also means I have 2 up for grabs;)

Did a bit of trailering with Canyonero today-got a new toy. Something that will go the few places my 200 won't, and still seats 5.

Nice! It might sound dramatic, but how many people die in a car fire because they can't get out...? This would at least give you a chance to at least delay the fire, should your legs be broken, etc.

In my case, I chose an extinguisher that has a long-ish rubber hose so that if need be, I could redirect fire retardant somewhat--even from its mounted position.

Obviously not idea, but in a situation where you are pinned...who knows?

The other thought that occurred to me... With drawers in back, drawers seem a logical spot for fire extinishers--until you realize that in a crash, you may not be able to access drawer contents due to a crushed rear panel, or another vehicle blocking drawer access, etc. That's why I love this solution. It puts it literally at your fingertips no matter what.

In the daily-driver world, people don't often get trapped in burning cars. The fire extinguisher above is great for a small electrical fire if caught quickly enough. The problem with small units like that is capacity and discharge time.

You only have a few seconds of use. After that, you have to go to Plan B, whatever that may be. Plans A and B for me are to let the vehicle burn to the ground and have the insurer buy me a new one.

Watching a woman die, trapped in her burning car after an accident, is why I started Wits' End and why the fire extinguisher mount was the first thing I made. Everyone was in a mad rush to get the fire out because it was obvious we couldn't get her out. But second after second and then minute after minute, the fire would grow exponentially. I never ever want to see that in my life again. Ever.
