Hit the east rim trail with a couple of friends and the smacked a sand dune on the way out. IH8SAND almost as much as mud.

Why remove the mudflaps? They're integral with the rear panel and keep crud from gunking-up that portion of the body.
Plus it makes the vehicle much nicer to follow behind on wet days.
Good move on removing running boards tho. Worst part about that is where to stash the damn things!

becuase they get ripped off if you wheel your 100 and personally I think they look dumb :hillbilly:

The dreaded ignition cam. Ordered one off ebay and wasn't seeming to sit deep enough into the switch on the end. Drove it down with a screw driver a little and seems to be working. Now I cross my fingers everytime I start it. Would really like to find a way to bypass it with a push button and ditch the wheel lock. Any suggestions?

I replaced the battery in my key yesterday and gained about 50ft of range maybe more. It's amazing I've been so used being within 10 ft or so for so long I just figured that's all we got with these things based on what others have said as well. When it got to the point where I was standing next to the truck and it took a good 4/5 presses of the unlock button, I figured it was finally time to replace! It's the little things that that make such a big difference!

Ak Wes,

What T did you use.. and did you find them in Anchorage?

I am also in Anchorage.. 100 series and 40 series!!

Beers sometime?
Ryan
Replaced the heater hoses and tees yesterday. The hot side tee completely disintegrated during removal, so I'm glad I finally took the time to do this proactive replacement!!! 2000 LC with ~190k miles on the clock. My cruiser has lived in Colorado, New Mexico and now Alaska.

Got the OME lift installed this weekend. Still need to adjust torsion bars a little bit.

Wife called me on the way to work, and thanked me for how nice the cruiser drives now!!
Just buy the OME T-bars. I tried cranking mine up and they just sagged out even faster.

They are the OME bars!!!

Hey Ryan,

I bought the T Fittings off of Amazon, since I didn't want to go hunting through parts bins to find them. Here is the link to the exact ones I purchased: Amazon.com: Four Seasons 84543 Heater Fitting: Automotive

Pretty easy job, but it took a bit of time to put on new hoses also. It's just a really tight squeeze trying to get in there and pull everything apart. The old hoses on my cruiser started to bond to the metal fittings, so I actually had to cut them off.

Yah, I'm game to meet up sometime. I saw your PM, so I'll shoot you a message back here after a bit.

Have a good one!

Wes
