Had to reboot the CV's this past weekend. Passenger side would not come out so rebooted it in place. Buddy brought his work truck so had all the tools we could ever need right there.

That brake line hose is SCREAMING!!

Nothing too major, Just finishing the third round of the same CV axles, front end rebuild, some brakes, shocks, UCAs, swimming in a flooding parking lot, and chasing down the last a**hole who worked on this thing.Oh! and waiting on parts. You know, regular stuff.

That's some hard work in a parking lot out under the open sky like that, just remind yourself how much you'll laugh about it soon as your knuckles heal.

I have been practicing expanding my curse word vocabulary. The old folks here really appreciate it.

The aftermath... and about a grand in bolts, screws, gaskets, and fluids from the local dealer here. Everything was rusted or half a**ed put together. So for piece of mind, I decided it was best to just get new. Might have to name her after Kim K since everything is new OEM or upgraded. Just don't have any racy videos yet.

Replaced my factory globes with new Toyota globes due to increased road transfer. Removal of old globes was a lot easier than expected. I started using penetrating fluid a week ago and the globes turned right out with a 36mm crowfoot and my torque wrench.

Torqued the new globes down to 48ft lbs (FSM) and bled air out of the system.

Took a picture of the date codes on the new globes.

Where is the date code and how do you interpret it?

Factory globes had production date stickers, these globes have the numbers stamped on.

Model number from OEM NOK seemed to be MUV 200 - 400 and they’re 2022 made, that’s all I know.

It was taught for sure, but still had some play when pulling on the knuckle. Kept a close eye on it and no problems.

Which headset is this?
I think that is the Teyes CC3
