Was bored and bad things happen when you're bored. Scuffed the chrome masked off the grey and laid down adhesion promoter. Then proceeded to lay down gloss black. All went well to the upper right corner started to fish eye. Thought I wiped everything down good but apparently not. I'll wait for it to cure a little more and go back and same that portion down and respray.

I did the same thing while I was installing the Eagle Eyes. But with graphite.

Also did the new badges.

Oh I like that as well. Did your light assembly come blacked out? The grille looks almost like satin finish
Yes. They had two (2) options, blacked out and chrome.

Amazon product ASIN B003ZIO884
I used Duplicolor Grey Engine Primer, then 3 coats of Graphite Wheel Coating and Wheel Clear Coating. Hopefully it won't chip.

Oh ok The way those photos are shown it seemed like there's not lens in front of the projectors. No I want to pull my lens off and paint in surrounds satin black. Btw did you wire your halos? If so what did your tap into? PO replaced the OEM housing and didn't bother too wire in the halos

Just got these from Ben... Looking forward to getting them installed.

Not yet. I want to run them as DRL and need to figure how to do it.

I disable the DRL with TechStream thinking it was a POC and turns out the DRL uses the High Beams.

Scrolling through Facebook last night, 1 AM in the morning, I come across a local post that someone had stolen a catalytic converter from a vehicle just 2 blocks down from me.... Ugh. I played musical chairs and decided it's time for the Land Cruiser to be parked back inside the garage. Our current garage vehicle occupying its spot has no catalytic converter (Nice try EPA) so I figure it's safer leaving it outside even though it's one of our BMW's. Oh well, I value the Land Cruiser more anyways.

Regardless, even prior to this, I have felt like it's only a matter of time before I fall victim to this. Has anybody got any tips on preventing this from happening? We only have a 2-car garage (first world problems) and 3 cars. I've read skid plates can help but how difficult would it be to remove a few bolts if it only takes a few moments to cut off the cat?

Prius cats are worth more from what I read granted it's a lot easier to get at our cats than a Prius. Mines parked outside as well, thankfully were in a cul de sac and every house has nothing lights and cameras, but if they want it had enough they'll do it

Yeah, that's my understanding as well. That the EV vehicles are premium $$ when it comes to cats. I live in the corner of the neighborhood, with security cameras, but no "alarms", in a well lit area with plenty of observant neighbors. Our bedroom is near the driveway, but in the summer months with the AC running it might be more difficult to hear suspicious activity. I'm almost considering placing a large cinder block near the driveway to eliminate access to the cats LOL.

I just installed a new Sony head unit and backup camera. Then I accidentally broke a nipple of my intake while removing it. A new intake is over $400 so I'm going to try building up a layer of epoxy first and if that doesn't work use a brass fitting. Also, it's time to replaces just about all of my vacuum lines.

Let’s see the head unit. Inquiring minds insist.

If it slows them down that little bit they may move to anker house/car. They want to to be in and out as quickly as they can. So it could help deter
