Found a used FJ(07) last night. It has TRD decals on it. Dealership is asking $34900. Seems high to me.

Depends. Mine was about that price, and it had ALMOST everything. Didn't have TRD decals, but I wouldn't want them either.

This one you're looking at, it should have almost every option.

If you buy it, you won't be dissapointed. I sure love how mine drives, and it sure feels nice and solid. Good stance, low center of gravity, lots of power and ready to hit the trail when you want to go. Not to mention excellent ride.

You've got to be kidding me! I paid several thousand less for my wife's FJ which was in the first shipment received by the dealer back in March. It's an auto, 4WD with option pack 2.

$2500... oh you mean them new ones...

auto, package #1, rack...just under 29k
it must be those fancy-pants stickers...

:frown: Geez. Here in Canada, a base model with zero options, starts at $29 990.

While I was at the dealership today, the only FJC they had on the lot had an ARB Bullbar, OME Lift, and Toyo MTs 290/70/17's for $34k.

Around mid-Missouri and KC they are all going for MSRP, but at least they are not adding any bull**** upcharges. Talked to a dealer and he said Toyota was interested in selling fewer at MSRP than flooding the market and discounting them.
I'm still looking.

Gee... I was told, when looking at them in the 3rd or last week of July, that if I bought one of the ones on the lot (they had 4 or 5, in at least 4 colors, I think... blue, yellow, white... and black, maybe?), I could have it - fully loaded - for $20K. It was 19-ninety-something...

I could've had the yellow one (eeeww) for even less than that.

No trade-in. They knew I was keeping my FJ80. They were hardly interested in my '80 Olds Cutlass Brougham sedan. lol

Unless they were lying to me??? .....

They sure did lie to me about the part I needed for the FJ80. All I needed was the bracket that holds the two exhaust pipes in place, right after they come out of the cat converter. They wouldn't sell me just the bracket; they said I could only buy the entire pair of exhaust pipes- from cat converter to tailpipe --- for $11K+. I told 'em no and drove down from NJ to WV to a friend's house, who welded the original bracket for me instead.

But they did say that I "could have a brand new, fully loaded, FJ Cruiser for less than $20K".

Is that a good price?
Should I go back and see if I can still take 'em up on that?

This for 27,700
