More details please... Ran through your threads and didn't see anything specific to running 39's (drool) thought I'd have to go SAS or Portals for 39-40's...Need more info.
Man that thing looks great.
I like it. I’m leaning towards adding one to my tundra as well.Well since it appears that ts gong to be an all time dry dusty summer based on the lack of snow the west is getting I went ahead and installed a dorkel. I had been going back and forth with fabbing up a stainless OZZY style one since there are slim to none spec'd for the OG second gen. All of the ones I've seen specifically call for 2014 and up Gen 2.5. I know folks have used the 200 Series snorkels with some modification but didn't like that the angle of the windshield to the snorkel was off, and looked weird. Given that the 2.5 Gen and 2nd Gen use the same cab, I figured a 2014+ snorkel could work. I opted to give it a go with a $99 Amazon special, and what a surprise! I think it actually looks great (aside from being down right bulbous). not the "sexiest snorkel" I've seen, but it will do the job. I'm ordering a reducer for my 9005 Sy-Klone that I already have (5" vs 4") and plan to run that this summer. The template was a tad off, but everything lines up nicely, including the antenna, pillar, and even the body lines even through they shouldn't, I had planned to shape the body of the snorkel a bit, but didn't need to do a thing...
