Use for the Slee CB install as a guide and added a pigtail to my radio to be able to push it back a little further into the dash. Didn't take any pictures of the procedure as Slee's instructions are straight forward. I know it doesn't look like much but the radio was able to move back about an inch.

I ended up doing the same with mine. However, unlike the slee instructions I left the original connector there and just soldered on the pigtail and routed it through the same space as the power wire so it can use either connection.

The mall crawling is about to get serious now!

Whats model is the lower of the two kenwoods ? A buddy of mine is looking for something that can install in a small space in his 4R to use as trail comms. He likes the handhelds but wants a mobile as well.
That is the TM-V71A. The radio is mounted under the driver seat and the face plate is mounted in a custom single DIN bracket I made out of some bracing.

Here's some pictures of the bracket and the install I had in my 3rd gen T4R.

I like the LED in the high beam

Replaced my nasty stained and torn cargo carpet with a $25 anti fatigue garage mat. I need to figure out something to do for the seat recessions. Bare metal just looks weird. Also I need to figure out a way to attach the front edge to the studs in the floor up there. Hopefully just a piece of trim and some nuts? Otherwise I'm pretty happy with it, it looks way better. Hopefully it holds up. Also started my blue Sea acr install, oh joy!

Cruisin through Berdoo Canyon Road.
Will post more on my build thread today.
The BLM outside JT is one of my favorite places to go. Not to mention free park entrance and exit ;)

@eurosonic Check out the Old Dale Mining area. Some great old sites to see.
