Been rocking the Wildpeak AT3s in the PNW (on the GX and a 2wd sprinter) and they’re amazing for wet and snow. It’s still possible to get the AT3s and they’re like $10 cheaper than the new ones. I read similar re: AT4s but haven’t heard or met anyone who has done a

Cool, you'll have to let us know how they do!
Pretty good today, raining like hell here. To be honest, the KO2's were good in the rain when new, but once you wore off that 20% of softer compound they were like hockey pucks. Supposedly the softer/more compliant (or at least updated) compound is used all the way through now on the KO3 with better additional siping. They are supposed to be rated for similar mileage wear as well. Time will tell. I'll be a bit disappointed if they exhibit the same "good for 20%" of the KO2's, and then be wishing I went with the AT3's, which is where those tires excelled.

My k02s are basically new.. so they won't be going anywhere

Had to redo the plate mount/reverse light setup as the new wheels and old plate mount/wiring were not compatable. I prefer the ham fisted butcher method.

The bag for my Amazon awning has disintegrated. Like the awning but the bag is trash. Medium size arb bag was a little too small. Went with the bigger one. 18” too long. Used some pool noodle sections to keep the bag full at the ends. The arb bag is very sturdy and made of an awesome material. I used some rubber gaskets and a little silicone sealer on the mounting bars.

Having grown up deep in the Ozarks, I know people who have actually eaten them, using the Option 1 crock pot :). We eat our share of deer, but my kids would have been awfully upset if their yard pet had ended up on the dinner table!
Skin it out, turn it and make a some little gloves for the kids. Ate lots of squirrels with grandpa near the Niangua.

Then I missed another opportunity yesterday! Dropped this one off at the same spot as the previous one. It was a male and way more aggressive, so I wore welding gloves when handling the cage :). Think we had a male/female pair of them. They are super easy to catch - this one was caught 15 minutes after the trap was out.

Your a better man then me Red, he'd a been a stew.

That was why I put up with the awful shipping times and other issues. I love the look of it, and nothing else comes close IMO.
I like the Lenz. I wanted something to bring in outside air for a future supercharger addition. I wanted something subtle that would not stick out and catch on tree branches or other stuff. The construction of my Lenz snorkel was far from perfect, so be prepared to do your own finishing. I also sprayed some liner inside to shore up a few thin spots and then color matched the paint. I’m pretty happy with it after the install.

Nerdy video on the ko3 vs the 2s interesting watch though..

I may have asked you other questions on the Lenz before, but I have one more.

Any difference in performance? I've read info from some claiming power loss via restrictions in the snorkel. I'd hate to choke up my UZ.

I didn’t notice any difference at all (still naturally aspirated). Then again, I drive at varying altitudes and it’s hard to judge what causes what. It wasn’t obviously noticeable to me, though.

Thanks. I'll still likely go the Lenz route. Every other option looks atrocious and we have lots of creeks to cross here.

Replaced the panhard bar bushings. What a PIA. I heated them up with map gas then pushed the centers out with a press and a socket. Then proceeded to cut, bend, and air chisel the inner shell until it gave up.

Looks clean. What muffler did you go with? Any highway drone?
Made in China, a knock off of the MagnaFlow, but much cheaper, budget was tight due to upgrading tires so for almost half the price I figured I'd give it a go. It's not quiet inside, if that's what your asking. I travel long distances for work and always have the tunes on so not an issue for me. For others it may be.

Anyone running Arnott replacement airbags happened to know what thread this airline connector is? Chasing down a leak and took a gamble on a pair of used for $60, but they are missing the quick disconnect airline fittings, and arnott will not sell me replacements without a receipt...

Finished installing my el cheapo extended/long-ish travel set up to run this summer. My IMS were failing, and after replacing my engine last year I was not ready to splurge for Kings. Lockers and a regear are the priority now.

Standard Bilstein 5100's up front with OME 2886's
10.25" Bilstein 5125's in the rear with Dobinsons C59-675v's. Also have the 11.5" inch 5125's if I need more down travel. Sitting dead center on the shaft at ride hight as is.

Not bad for a little over a grand, time will tell how long the set up lasts, but I got the inspiration for this from a Tacoma owner who wheels way harder than I do
