I brought a new aftermarket water temperature sensor to suit the factory gauge. Brought an adapter to fit it to my SBC. Slipped with spanner so i knocked the top off it :(
Took it all back out, soldered a new pig tail on & refitted it.
Filled the radiator back up & then the sun went down.
Will search the loom for the wire tomorrow for connect & test.
Wish me luck, if it works ill setup the factory oil gauge next.

aftermarket. not me....i've been driving it for years on that cheapo slave....a couple of the white trash were out and used the pig to slide a van body on their trailer, they called me at work to tell me how great the winch worked and that they were going tohave to use it to get the pig up the drive. exploded with enough force that the piston was almost all the way out and cocked and disengaging the clutch so they couldn't drive it up in gear.

Well what did you expect from a cop and a hippie?

White Trash of the Elwood Chapter, TORC4x4.org, Cottonland Cruisers.

Dang them no good white trash folk!

When mine deployed it was all over the parking lot! Also damaged the clutch fork if I remember correctly.

I thought I was for sure going to get stuck again. BALD street tires and it's been pouring all day plus the field was muddy from getting stuck there last time.

thanks, we'll see where it goes, been on my mind for a looong time just never had the courage to do it.

Put a deposit down on it :)
