Bought a roof top tent and started working on some roof mounts. It's a TuffStuff tent. Just over 1000 with an annex. I plan on sealing all of the seams with clear silicone calking and mineral spirits. I'm not interested in a full roof rack so I'm just doing mounts will come off with the tent. Copied gutter mounts I saw here on Mud.

Maybe with the right people they could be installed in the parking lot at the next CSC meet. Can't be much time in it. Maybe a team challenge with both teams using Puma compressors and mini impact guns could race each other to see which team finished faster. You buy beer and pizza.

i just replaced all 4 shocks on the 60. Ordered them on Monday from Cruiseroutfitters, arrived today and already on.

I have one in my truck as do several others in CSC or the other clubs. Phil used this model on a landcruiser we were parting out, ran with the Puma several hours.

got a set of rock sliders ,but not yet installed....need HELP

My FJ sliders bolted right up... some minor confusion over the e-brake cables (instructions suggested doing bad things to the stock cable mounts), but using a pair of jack stands to hold an end in place whilst I bolted the other end worked pretty well.

maybe i should put the lightforces back on and then the 52" led light bar on top of the bull bar for maximum amount of things to break when going through brush

Reminds me of a video I just saw - an FJ stampeding through virgin dirt in some AZ forest. But it was okay, he was a reporter producing a story about care and maintenance of public lands. Sigh. Makes me wonder why Australians aren't always born there.
