Brought mine home from SLC this morning...1986 BJ74, 13B-T, automatic...ARB bumper, ComeUp winch, 285 BFG KM's on 16" wheels, MetalTech sliders, dual Optima REDTOPS. Lift is unknown (and will be replaced), no lockers (on the list), winch is wire and will change to synthetic, and the turbo is untweaked...so it needs boosting and some gauges to monitor stuff. 240 miles from SLC to Cedar City running 70-80mph and getting just shy of 20mpg...LOVE it!!

Originally a Land Cruisers Direct rig, owned by Jon Bundrant from AllPro for a short time but it didn't fit his style...but it fits mine :)

What is the, uh, mast on the bumper?

Work light mount. Will be telescoping, I believe ...

Submarine? :)

Not on my watch.

Nope, that is definitely a rear mount extendable snorkel. Should be able to ford 8 foot streams, no problem.

Had a few hours spare 2day. Got the cab off and hopefully the engine/gearbox out 2moro. The way this project is going, it may be 2020 before it's finished.

Ps. New hoist makes things 10x easier. Well worth the $ for anyone who likes to have a play.

Took the radiator out to have it tested and addressed if/as needed

I've been wandering around Kenya for the last few days so don't have much to report on my BJ74...but here are a few pics of trucks I've seen on the road, all of which make me want to get home and drive mine!

Nothing to see here...just a pair of troop carriers making their way through a traffic jam, both things to be taken for granted in Nairobi

This one I don't really want to ride in!

This you cannot get at Toyota of San Diego!

Stumbled across this safari-ready truck, then noticed the sheds nearby housed at least another half dozen similarly equipped trucks. Surely they left the keys in at least one of them...

Had an impromptu wheeling session up to Argentine Pass 13207' . She performed perfectly and the weather was perfect for a photo shoot. Termination dust in the back ground, Old Man Winter will be here soon.

broth, finally finished my rear axle and brake jobs and am back on the road. We need to get together. I'm always up for impromptu wheeling sessions. And are those curtains in your rear windows? That's 80s conversion van swank right there! Cruiser looks good

You do realize the pigeons are going to land up there and poop on your spare tire and bumper.

I hear rumors that you have a really nice shotgun and are a semi-fair shot ;)
