Andrew St Pierre is getting wierd, poop dont stink kinda wierd.

lol how many $100k+ rigs is that dude gonna build (with his Patreon's support) before realizing he just needs to buy an RV. I hate that minutiae finicky for the sake of style of Youtuber. Wish he'd focus more on being a traveling didactic raconteur and not an outfitter who constantly critiques.

Took her out for a drive while contemplating selling it. For Sale post coming soon. :(

:eek:The first autumn storm came in, so I started some bad weather projects.
1) The rear side windows' runners are toast and the frames showed some rust. So I cut the frames out... 1.5h per side. Jesus, that butyl stuff is sticky...
The frames turned out to be quite Ok. Just surface rust. I came in time. Cleaned it all up, treated the rust and soaked the overlaying sheets with Owatrol penetrating rust preserver. Will coat the surface with Brantho.
2) Took off the door-cards and had a look into the doors. Looks god, but needs protection.. Once in it, I put some Sound deadner to the inner door panels. Then soaked all fissures and overlapping sheets with Owatrol. Once cured, some fluidfilm will be sprayed for protection. I also need to make new plastik covers to go under the doorcards.
3) Did some detailing of the interior parts. Doorcards, handles and those clamping weatherstrips from the rear windows got a thorough wash and scrub. Came out like new 🙂.
The PO had tried to fix the disintegrating cardboard with some filler. Fell right off. I will stabilize the cardboard with some NO polyester NO and a thin layer of fiber mat.
The front side is flawless. Edit WAS, until I messed it up:

Edit: DON'T USE POLYESTER! Although I carefully made sure the resin didn't touch the vinyl cover (I put a layer of PE plastik and a cardbord on it), the fumes migrated while curing, though, and caused the vinyl to wrinkle.:oops: Idiot me, could have sensed that.:bang: Not looking that good any more in that spot. 😢

That's CHERRY!

Put some 80 series wheels under this hzj73 , I still like how they look under any of the darker colored 70’s
I like the 80 wheels so much that I think I'll just buy that truck from you.

I use 1" spacers and they come just out of the wheelwells with 275 tires on them
What spacers did you use? I thought one inch was not enough to accommodate the OEM stud length. I used 1.5 inch Spidertrax spacers.
