What camp shower and toilet are you using?

Hahaha I didn't even consider my wording, what happens in your campsite stays in your campsite

I was in need of a better shower/crapper tent, and after seeing Christophe's review on Expedition Portal, I bought one, and it came yesterday.
Nemo Equipment Heliopolis

Going to try and set it up over the weekend.
What I like about it is it has a full time floor with mesh all the way around to drain the water out.
Also has towel holders and other cool features in it.
Bigger than my current shelter I have been using since 2009.

Will be using it with my PETT toilet I have had since 2008, and a Basecamp Aquacube gas shower which is very nice, even does dishes :bounce:

DIY rack mounted passive solar heated shower.

I was thinking of making something like this, but found a YouTube with a good description.

I downloaded a writeup for that same setup last week!

I still use the solar camp shower setup but this looks like a fun little project.

Gravity fed D.I.Y. shower... 7gal. Water jug and parts from home depot. Cheap and effective.

LL bean portable solar bag shower and the zodi portable shower for the showers and a 5 gallon bucket for the rest of the:poop:

Over the years I have used everything from a high flow vehicle heat exchange for a hot shower to a wash cloth. I was all about the Nemo shower in the past but it uses too much water for my liking. Fast forward to today and I use a Bottle Blaster along with a wash cloth and Dr Bonners. I can wash my hair using only 16ozs and get a fine wash. I get most of my most of my personal hygiene tips from girls that full time travel in vans. :)

I use the Jet Boil to get the desired water temp for my shower bottle and wash basin water. I have since the picture upgraded to a Figi water bottle because it is heavy duty in comparison and handles the hot water much better.

SS water basin, Dr Bonners, and wash cloth for the body works wonders.

Large Baby wipes have many uses and are great to keep you fresh. Having tested tons of baby wipes I have concluded they all dry out if not used soon after opening. I have found by keeping them in a Zip Lock bag they remain moist for months on end and always moist to use and easy to access.

On more than one occasion I have returned from a week long trip only to be ask if I stayed in a hotel. So the above system works very well and uses very little water to get the needed results.

As for a toilet I still dig holes and carry Walmart Ozark bags as back up that can be dropped in the hole if needed to leave no trace.

Just saw this in my subs.

In the past some have asked how to get their Kick Ass fridges here in the US, but I believe they do not ship out of Australia.

I have one of the USB showers like above I tested once I can send it to you or anyone else for $25 includes shipping. Works great just uses more water than I personally want.

Thanks for the offer Phil, but I am still using the
Base Camp AquaCube Portable Water Heater/Shower.

gotta love the Bonners!

Besides body/shampoo/tooth paste, has the wicked entertaining verbage on the label. Their factory is kinda sorta around the corner from me. The son took over the gig and did a wonderful business expansion.

Been using it since early '70's (grade school days). My wife hates that bottle in the shower as I use it for my washing needs even in civilization:beer:

Well, even though I have the Basecamp Aquacube made by Mr. Heater, and it has been nice using it and doing the dishes (it has a sink faucet too) I had delivered a Big Kahuna Shower 4.7 gallon model Sunday.

The Aquacube is nice, but many have had problems with it (made in China) so I want something reliable, made in the USA, and it is a small three person run company.
There is a HUGE markup for sure on the price as they are simple parts (pet food container) but the powerful pump is German made, and I tested it out yesterday on my front deck.
They do make a heating element for it, but it requires 800 watts of AC power.
I am just going to heat up a pot of water on the camp stove, and mix it in with the creek water.

To power it, I will be using my new Goal Zero Yeti 400 Lithium I picked up awhile back.
