Working on spending some money. Some of this was bought on Partsouq before I knew there would be a tariff charge from FedEx, so will see what that’s gonna be in a few weeks I guess.
Tariffs have essentially negated any pricing advantage of not buying from US dealers online when they have a reasonable sale at least for now. Not worth waiting a month when the price difference is under 5% with under 5 day delivery vs over a month
OEM shocks I ended up buying for my LS were only $100 cheaper with tariffs and shipping plus a 30-90 day lead time than dealer. Before they were $1000 cheaper…

Yes I was out of the loop about the tariffs. Prices were comparable to Ourisman on most stuff besides a couple items that had a large enough delta to warrant buying from Dubai.

Smittybilt mounting bracket a bit rusty, cleaned up ok, waiting on paint to dry to move forward with winch controller relocation kit. Replaced crossover pipe gasket today. Removed my oil catch can, if you happen to see an oil drip from the rear of my right front fender, don't pay it any mind....

No pics but took 100 for alignment and both inner tie rods were loose! Had to bring back home and remove and redo with loctite. Found passenger side to bent...again!! (Replaced with new) And driver side is bent just slightly but I put it back in. Passenger was loose 2-3 threads out and driver side was just barely loose but could turn by hand, lock washer was holding it in place! All back together in a couple hours while I was in and out of the office. Back getting aligned now will pick up in the morning. Merry Christmas!!
