A masterclass in greatness... Guy writes one of the greatest rock anthems of all times. Plays nothing but tambourine until 1:50 into it! Shakes his ass at 1:57. Sings half of the lyrics, presenting himself as the equal of his band's singer who just happens to be one of the greatest ever to play a rock and roll show. Gives hope to every awkward weirdo kid who comes after him. Please never leave us, Pete Townsend.

All the while Entwistle stands like a statue. By far one of the best concerts I ever attended. Daltrey does this thing with the mike where he spins it by the chord in larger and larger circles then shoots it up over the crowd and yanks it back. Can't imagine how many popped off the end of the chord over the years and flew into the crowd. Never thought of Towsend as a weirdo, just great entertainer. Wish I would have gone to see them when they were performing all of Tommy.
Nah - it's just his favorite song and he asks that Marshall and the UC guys play it more often. Right Eric?
