What are they for?

What are these holes for? It’s been almost a year since I took this thing apart.
I can’t figure out what these two holes or four. The oblong one is for the rear heater, I have that covered my FJA 40 is a 1971​

The upper big one is for your wire harness (the four small holes around is not original), the square hole beneath is for the inspection light socket, and as you said, the oval one on the right is for the heaterlines.

Mine is a 12/71 and has the large round hole but not the screw holes.

Not sure if this is correct. I’ve got my inspection wires and a branch of ignition wires using that hole. Grommets are on the to-do list
