Im already forming a list of parts i want to replace.

- OEM front bumper
- OEM alloys (will Trade you for these Fjcruiser wheels) Prefer the CE version if anyone has them.
- OEM Antenna Mast
- OEM air intake box (there's some goofy after market intake on this thing)

If anyone has any of these let me know. I'd like to get them replaced ASAP.

Congrats to you both!! The CE looks muy bueno!!!! Did you buy local? I looked at a truck a few years back with this same set up. Irvine?

Dave,
I have a complete antenna unit you can have. I'll be at TDS and can deliver.

Derrick

Oh boy, two 80s in the family. Congrats, great looking rig!

We almost went for two LCs, the 80 & a 100. But figured the Sienna(I still can't bring myself to say the word "miniv...") was better while the kids are still young.

Saw this on CL too but doesnt have lockers so I didnt call. Curious how much you got it for? Congrats on the new truck.

Congrats Yosh! I 'might' still have the airbox off mine. Don't recall if I tossed it a year ago or not, but I'll look tonight.

FJ rims don't look bad tho. Given that 80 series rims can still go for $100+ per rim, that'd be low on my priority list for now.

I promised her it will stay stock. Mark, let me know if your 80 series buddy wants to trade his Lexus wheels for these :)

I don't think he will want to bling out with those rims. Aren't those 17's? So now you will need new tires for the stock rims. Breaking promises already! :ban:

This is a pretty genius move by Dave!
A couple years from now when Yosh is sick of this big gas guzzler and the 91 is getting a little old and tired. All the mods make a move over to a nice fresh 97 CE!

This is the one in Irvine. Has a few minor problems that i'll get sorted but the drivetrain/engine is good. I picked it up for $6300, tried to get it for $6k but he wouldn't budge. Met in the middle. He had 4-5 callers supposedly and it was only listed the night before we bought it. He tried to make some stuff up about it that wasn't true but i nipped them in the bud quickly. Saying something silly like the Collectors Edition was made for crossing deep water lol. Right.

Let me know on the air intake Brent, i have another one lined up but they have to check also.

Thank you Derrick for the antenna! (Yosh says that actually)... i won't be at TDS, but my guys will be working the booth and i instructed them to keep an eye out for it.

No lockers and wasn't really wanting lockers. We were actually shopping for a 100 series, but everything was over priced.

Brent, i can't stand the rims.. the offset is incorrect as they didn't bother with spacers! Looks like hell and i want them off ASAP.

JohnGalt has a bumper looks like so we just need a few things else and we're rocking and rolling.

Time to get a quote on lift/bumpers :D

Cool find! If the guy in Irvine was an Asian dude :D named Clint then I have some bad news... the CE rims off that vehicle are currently on my 80 :flipoff2:. Picked them up off some dude in Irvine back in 2010. I'm Pretty sure its the same rig. Same 4th gen 4Runner wheels and painted center. Especially when you mentioned the intake. Its some CAI-style thingy right? Wish my paint was in that condition/color :p. Might have a set of bling bling chrome 80 rims if you can't find anything better.

Damn - forgot to check last night.

Did both 35 minutes on the eliptical at level 12 plus a good 1/2 hour with weights last night and I was beat when I got home. Three days in a row to the gym as well, but hey, at least the weight is back down under 200! Ticker loves all the time on the eliptical as well which is more important.

Now - returning this thread to it's regularily scheduled programming. I'll look this weekend for the air box Dave, but fairly sure I tossed it.

Thanks Brent.. oh and 35 mins? I do an hour at over 1100 calories. Kick it up old man!

One step per minute for you doesn't count. :flipoff2: Run.

I watch my heart rate with the grip monitors about every 5 minutes. They aren't supposedly the most accurate iin the world, but I need to make sure I don't get my heart rate much above about 138 as recommended by cardiac rehab. I can't push it too hard. That rate was determined when I was 52, three years later, they'd probably want it just a little bit lower than that. I get it up in that range and keep it there for the full time.

Old man - I resemble that remark! One repaired heart and two knees with no cartlidge left, one scoped already for a torn meniscus. Damn - falling apart or paying for my indescresions in my youth!! Note to self - still need to get up the nerve to schedule an appt with a knee replacement specialist. Not looking forward to that process!! Rehab on that is a :censor::censor::censor:, just go ask Big Dave what he's been thru.

I hear you Brent. Just razzing you. Good for you for not sitting on the couch and staying active.

Anyhow, air intake has been installed in the truck. I've also fixed the passenger seat and replaced the front bumper for a less scratched version for now.

Yosh is looking at lifts/bumpers already :)
