Only the short wheelbase bj42 got the 5 spd. No hj47’s got a 5spd from the factory.

Also, I don’t think that Europe got the HJ47, they got the BJ45 after the HJ45. So I would expand your search to include BJ45.
I moved there in 92 so about the same time, I guess, I owned The Winery, Firehouse, and RPM/Engine Room. I’ve been back a few times. hi dog river, i dont know if your still looking for a HJ 47, i was thinking of selling mine, its a 1977 Hj47 longbed, 3.6 liter diesel H motor, running and driving good, strong compression. not much rust, 2e owner. price i was thinking around $9.500 obo. byeHello,
I am searching for a HJ45/H47 in un-restored condition. Patina is good if it’s not rotted out. LHD is strongly preferred. I will be needing a flatbed, but I can always swap that out if it has the original bed on it. I would prefer a later model but would look at others. I am willing to import from various countries; any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance, Dog_River
