WANTED: centered diff rear axle or housing

Thought I would post here since these axles only came in early models. I'm looking for an early centered diff rear axle or just the housing. I would prefer just the housing. Located in CO. Please pm if you have any leads. Thanks

Just a side note....................FJ25 and FJ40 centered rear axles are not the same. Do you want an FJ40 or an FJ25 rear axle? I do have either ones for sale. Thank's, John

I'm I'm looking for the 40 series axle. On a side not what are the differences between the two? Pardion did you ever get a shipping qouote for me?

I'm I'm looking for the 40 series axle. On a side note what are the differences between the two?

Curious myself what all the differences are. I know the brakes were different as well as the third member. But was the housing and axle shafts the same. Also has anyone figured out if the 61 FJ40 brakes. These seem to be a one year only brake. Front and rear brake drums were different.

The brake backing plate flanges are differant. 25's are round, 40's are round with to flat edges, kinda oval. I guess you could cut a 25's flange so then they would be the same.

I really should look at the spare axles I have. Makes sense about the flanges. I know how the FJ40 are just have to look at the FJ25s. I need to dig out my micro-fiche reader and see if the axles are the same or different. Now curious what the axle flanges for the brakes backing plate on the 61 FJ40 look like. FJ25 or FJ40. Wish I could get hold of a 61 FJ40 micro-fiche. It was a really odd ball year. Some FJ25 stuff. Some later FJ40 stuff. Then some 61 one only stuff.

John, the 25 and 40 center diff axles are the same.
