Wanna see your rear corner ideas

Okay we all know our rear corners are rusted out I wanna see what everyone has done to fix/replace/customize these rusty holes.

MrBinks, I've seen several threads that deal with this issue. Maybe Eventhoughs' build thread, however you look at it, sparks must fly.

My corners were shot as were my rear body mounts. I chopped my corners and body mounts out and fabbed up a piece w/ 2x2 for a sill, some plate for body mounts, and some 16 ga for corners. My sill was OK but it had to go to get everything to work together. When I put my rear bumper back on I will weld some 2x2x3/16 at a 90 from my rear bumper facing forwards under the rear corner and then back into the frame for protection.

eventhough, Those look good. While laying in bed last night I came up with an idea and will keep you guys posted in my build thread how that works out for me. I intend on making a mold out of wood and soaking it in water and using some 18guage sheet and molding it around the wood mold with the use of some heat. We'll see.
