Interesting... but what’s it from and will it fit a 40?
Mine is mounted to the windshield frame, not glued to the glass.

As far as I know it is out of a fj40. I also believe it glues to the windshield.
Anyone have a new one of these kicking around?
Tcase kit didn't come with it, toyota says 14 days, which is a bit longer than I want to wait.
Could I guess, I'm just impatient

Can either buy yours or replace with a new one. Mine isn't broken but I'm guessing that plastic is getting old and brittle.
Partsouq is supposedly 3-7 days, but I don't know if it's worth trying.

Yeah doing a few things. Clutch, gears, building an ebrake.
Should've ordered one of these plastic things a couple weeks ago but I thought the last tcase kit I bought had one... don't see it included in any of them now tho.

Haha, Mel wants to do a road trip this weekend, maybe we'll head that way if I don't have the front half done by then.
Don't have any plan other than escape the house for a day.
I'll update my thread when I have things figured out a bit better. Just your standard shop floor covered in greasy s*** at the moment.

Almost enough to take retail therapy to the next level...
I'm reasonably sure the cheapness will take hold before that happens tho
