nice is right!

only thing he missed was painting the turn signals body color ;)

not often you see one done "correct" with the roof and rack body color...most like the roof white like later models

It is a beautiful resto for sure. What about the floor shifter vs. steering column, plastic master cylinder vs. steel, hose clamps & battery tie-down- I know picky, picky.. Not that I'll every do anything as nice.. $60K for a truck like that eh?

I saw this in person there a few weeks ago. Super nice truck (along with everything else they had there). The guy who worked there showed me around even though I told him that I was not a potential customer and would be happy to just at the trucks in the showroom for a few minutes. SUPER nice guys.

When I win the lottery or stop doing my own wrenching, TLC will be my first stop.

Is TLC still doing resto's? I was told that they were no longer messing with the old trucks and concentrating on the new generation and their Icon. ie. following the money. Markieboy here on mud shipped his LV all the way from Hilton Head, SC to TLC. Supposedly after it sat for a number of weeks, they told him they were no longer doing this type of work and he had to send it to another place, the name escapes me, where it is currently being worked on. This thread has been posted here before.
