they are the same as the very late fj4x series brakes, but the early 40 series stuff is completely different. none of the parts interchange as drew mentioned.

No issues. Spring mounts are in the same location, shocks mounts on the spring plate.
Only suspension difference in 1981-newer, was the larger spring bushings.

Brake cable ? Tsm sourced or other? Have this combo awaiting install and only option I came up with is clocking ebake 180 and cable pointing to ds.
Yes please some more info on the TSM brake set up, this might be the ticket for a P brake on the splitcase you built for my project.
