Nice to see some pics of a couple finalized installations to get some ideas. I plan on bending mine to an optimal position for me to reach them from the Mazda seats I installed, which sit a couple inches taller than the factory seats. Hopfully they'll be long enough for me to reach them without having to lean over. That's my goal anyway.

I had to bend mine in basically a Z pattern so they would line up and look okay. Here are some crappy pics that I found in my build pics. I have never had a problem shifting them. Georg's kit kicks A$$.

I'm new to 4x4s but what does this achieve

have the ability to engage Low in your t-case without engaging the front DS

Stock linkages are kind of a rube goldberg contraption and some are loose and wobbly and don't engage positively. Twin sticks made a world of difference for me in terms of easier, postive shifting, after I installed an Orion transfer case that has stiffer detentes than stock.

I'm 100% agree with you I've been myself close to buy the twin stick " kit " to do in Tencha .. and probably will do one of those days ..

In my case I did it because I was installing a toybox and needed to address the set-back of the transfer case. The twin stick was an easy solution. I had bee running without the "gate" for ages...

But then there's the "cool" factor (admittedly a big reason I wanted twin stick) and in this case the ability to support a Mud vendor who's done a lot of great work for the Cruiser community. Georg is a busy dude, but he's a great guy to deal with and one I wouldn't hesitate to get products from as long as I have the money. Hell any used part I can't just go grab at the local wrecker I'll talk to him before anyone else.

But you can engage low range 2 wheel drive by simply removing the gate bolted to the top of the tranny.

that's complete true and they way I have it .. I was just trying to explain why you should take the twin stick route .. I never said that wasn't a cheap alternative ..
