Are real nice for tapping into an existing wire. Small pin prick where the tap is made, easy to dab a little liquid tape over if you ever want to remove the tap.

A bit of a follow-up.
I ordered a rebuild kit. It's just sitting in the shop.
Because...lazy me has found that if I just hold the key in the start position for a few seconds,
it starts right up! Every time. So far.

I'm also sitting on my rebuild kit.
After pulling apart my starter with no kit in hand I sanded down everthing smooth then reinstalled it.
I haven't had a problem since.

Got really lazy. The gentleman who owns the lot where I store the LC while we're away said he would do the job while we're out of town. $20.00 since I have the parts.
Deal! One more reason why we love Mexico.
