turn signal/hazard click in gear shifter (1 Viewer)

so I've been doing a whole bunch of work on my land cruiser and i just put all new led's in the dash. when i assembled it i turned on the hazards to make sure they were working. when i did that there was a click in the safety lock for the gear shifter and every time the lights blinked the shift lock disengaged like when you depress the brake pedal you can move the shifter. so when it clicked i could shift gears without touching the brake pedal. this also happens when you use the turn signals. the only times it doesn't click is when you depress the brake pedal or shift out of park. this is very confusing and i dont know if its something i did or what but could anyone point me in the right direction?
