So we are going with some pretty nice mods on this one.

The 1HD-FTE is getting;
-UFI 23L turbo capable of 35psi
-+50 injectors
-ARP head studs
-400+hp conrods
-5map Unichip
-NPC billet flywheel and 1300nm clutch
-big front mount PDI intercooler
-In house made 4” in/out air box
-In house built 3” SS exhaust

We should be 350+hp with this setup. Plenty for a big heavy Troopy!

Bigger tires really help the new front body style in my opinion. The proper front bumper to go with it and I think they look pretty good!

The Troopy is probably going to weigh 8-10,000lbs when done! So I think we are going to do some strengthening of the frame.

We did move front axle and also are moving frame side suspension brackets.

This is a slider mount, 1/2” plate tapped and frenched into the frame rails.

We have decided like I say to go ahead and plate the frame with some 3/16’s. I don’t know yet what final weight of the Cruiser will be but I do expect it to weigh more than the 79-series DC we finished earlier this year. That Cruiser rolls around at 8,000lbs before packed for a trip! I would assume this Troopy will weigh more if it gets all the overland goodies.
