Its obvious it has been modified between the black & green section (rusty section). I'd bet it was not correctly measured/cut/welded..... I have a C-pillar hoop I could get some measurements on for you over the weekend if you wanted to remove yours and compare.

I doubt anyone would notice if you shortened it to make the lower edge of the soft top line up with the tub properly.

You are also missing the tub rail holder for that rear hoop:

Awesome! Thanks for the links for those. I'll pick those up. Yes, measurements would be great... appreciate it.

Did your top co e with the upper bracket that holds the rear bow stationary to the tub? Might be optical trickery, but the bow looks slightly off center.

Pic below for reference.

I don’t think it’s that far off if at all. Put it on in the full sun, that’ll help. What measurements do you need?

Here’s mine. I don’t think yours is a TROA though.

Thanks! Looks to be sunny tomorrow here in CO so i'll let it sit out. I would love measurements from the rear pole going from wheel well to the top and the back support going from the tub top to the first lower cross pole.

I’m in Ft Collins, my app sez 58 but your right the sun will feel like 70. I would run a small electric heater inside the cab for an hour or so while in the sun. All vinyl tops feel too small if not really warmed up. (Ive done Kaylines and Bestops on Toys n Jeep).

What is the fix for the tie down straps in physical position relation to the footman loops on your tail gate?
I had a hard time understanding what you were saying at first. So yeah, 2 out of 5. Although 5 is excessive.

Great question. The loops don’t fit those footman's on the tailgate. They are too short to reach. I’m going to add 3 new ones just below top of the tailgate. Leave 2 unused, seemed like overkill to use all 5 and less holes to put in.

Going by the department I was working at the time I bought this complete set of factory bows, doors and Kayline top in 1995. I bought a 73 FST and then a new Kayline top from Man A Fre in 1994. The one with tinted windows is shorter in the back. The rear bow is shorter than the three other sets of factory bows I've bought over the years. I didn't realize it was shorter in the back until I tried the top on the 73's bows. Only bow that is different is the rear bow. The rest are like all the other bows. Not sure it helps but on this top a shorter bow the top fit perfect.
