I have a dedicated 4 gauge battery cable which runs to a blue sea fuse block in the rear quarter panel. From there I run 14gauge wire to an adapter plug. Been running it for 7 years this way with no issues. Lots and lots of off road miles and still holding up like a champ.

We’ve done it many ways, from 2nd battery under the hood (my personal preference) to a full sized battery under the driver side wing with a custom battery box. Under the wings there’s a lot of space for mounting as well as in the triangle shaped dead space between the system and second row.

@prwillard2 I've got detailed pictures on page 3 of my build thread. I've got an LI Time 100Ah group 24 Bluetooth battery under the driver's side wing. Its sitting on a custom mount from Trekboxx/Dissent Offroad. it fits perfectly in thay wing. I've got Victron components for the remainder of the system. I prefer Victron as its separate components so if one is damaged I only have to replace the single device for cheaper than a combined unit. You'll also see in the thread my National Luna 75L fridge. It's been running happily off the 100Ah battery for a year and a half (August 2024).

The 200 has become the dedicated camping vehicle as we added a 3rd vehicle as a daily commuter. This means both LC200 batteries sit on their own dedicated chargers. But I built that capability into the house battery to make this situation easier. Let me know if you have questions!
