Have you ever done any of your front 60 series winch bumpers with a high hood bar similar to an ARB? There aren't many options out there for that style. My old 84 had a bumper made by an fabricator friend designed after a south American rally bumper. I'm still a little ways off from affording bumpers but also looking at rear tire carriers also.

@jason. a year or so ago...weren't you working up plans to make bumpers like this out of aluminum for weight savings?

Dang. I might have to sell my ARB and start going aluminum...we'll see if I have 'learn TIG' money before I have 'pay TT to do all the work' money, but either way, I love the idea of having our cake and not going thousands of pounds over the GWVR...

I have 30 lowers at the laser cutter now. Should be rocking on the 60 fronts in about 10 days. Also have 20 rears coming in as well.

Well today I had to do it... Demand and work is bat s*** crazy right now. Added a new machine. Looks like I may be knocking out another wall as well after talking to the landlord today. WTF....... 12000 sq ft. Oh well its for the greater CRUISER good..

8' x 88 ton capacity 8' of 1/4" and less... should do the trick for a couple more years..
