D,

I won't make a rear bumper WITH side protection without the rig being in my shop.

Sorry,

J

Jason - Is it the inconsistencies from truck to truck or the angle being off or ???

That side protection on the black truck you did looks fantastic...so much better than 4x4Labs and other ones I've seen.

How far are you from L.A.?

The main issue is bad bodywork from others and the frames twist. I've seen non-wrecked rear frames with as much as 5/8" difference. Only thing I can do to speed up the process is have the entire main bumper built and the wings bent when someone arrives. Then its less than a day to fit and weld out.

Thanks for the compliment. I just followed the body line.

I'm 830 miles from LA, but will be closer by the beginning of winter. I'm currently out until August on bumper builds and rigs coming in for custom builds.

@erse, @Kmonty66, @mitchbenson, @ADVPIG and @Willard not sure when I'd make a drawer order. Production time is currently around 45-60 days plus a 4 week boat ride. I don't know if or when the side panels would be made as well. I may have to custom make these myself or sell the units without them.

Jason

I am thinking selling these without the side panels are not the end of the world, if you can get matching fabric who cares. Wood is cheap and a tape measure is easy to use. I can always build my own sides.
If I got fancy a metal frame with Aluminum paneling.

The vendor will supply me with the matching fabric.

I on the other hand would strongly prefer if they came with the matching side panels. Knowing how I knock things together I would very much run the risk of making a great product look like a home made hack job, but that could just be me and my 10 thumbs

Of course if not enough people are interested from the outset it doesn't matter either way unfortunately

I don't have a problem making them. The front plate is metal and I'd just design for the extra material needed and have those laser cut and CNC bent. Then just cover the end and make 2 front top pieces to match the cargo contour better.

After the first ones.. its all good.

So we just need about five more guys who haven't told their wives the real story on their tax return amount.......

That's awesome! I may need you to etch "Homer" somewhere on the drawers

About to finalize my distributorship with TGT out of Australia. These bumpers are made in Perth.

On the TGT 60 series rear bumpers...integrated receiver hitch? ...able to get a spare tire D. side and basket or jerry can holder P. side? ...spare tire looks like it covers tail lights? ...quarter protection like the 78/80/100/200 series?

  • Waiting on an answer on hitch, I don't think so though.
  • Working on arm configurations now. They make the jerry can carrier for the RH side and tire carrier for both sides.
  • Lights could possibly be obstructed pending size of your tire (Similar to Kaymar).
  • NO 60 quarter protection.

HI JASON, IT'S KINDA NICE TO SEE MY CRUISER ON YOUR SITE, HOW MUCH WOULD IT RUN ME FOR THE DRAWER KIT SHIPPING AND ALL.
I LOVE THAT SINGLE TIRE CARRIER YOU CAN BOLT TO YOUR EXISTING BUMPER. I'M SURE YOU CAN COME UP WITH SOMETHING SIMILAR AND BETTER.

60 drawer kits are up in the air right now due to the wing kits that I'll have to make.

I don't plan on making anything similar to that arm kit.
