Josh, your ass is getting Duct taped to a tree for the duration of the next ride I see you at.

I will bring the duct tape and a staple gun..

Hey Gang,

I am a new member of TLCA and live just south of Birmingham. I plan on coming to Grey Rock. My '85 60 has stock running gear. I've lifted it with 2.5" OME Dakar kit and will be going to 33x10.5 15's this week. I have a lot to learn about Landcruisers. I have no off-road experience. Looking forward to meeting some fellow Cruiserheads in October.

Woohoo, more Alabama cruisers! welcome aboard. Can't wait to meet you.

Is it me, or is this event going to be huge?! Go Cottonland! ya'll ready? 5 pages and 2 months to go.

I got all my parts ordered now all I need is some new tires.

71-Cruiser what size do you need, Bodean might have a line on some 38 or 35 depending on what you want?

Land Speeder you hit it on the head-5 pages & 2 months to go. We meet as a group the other night to work out details but I can say we are trying to make a run that someone stock can come, have fun & learn. Yet someone who wants a challenge can find that also.

*Not to mention hearing Bodean sing will bring people out of the woodwork-OH YEA DAVID ALLEN COE sung by Bodean!!!

CANT WAIT!

36-38 range. I have been contemplating Iroks or maybee Pitbull Rockers but cheaper is always better as long as they have more tread than mine.

Dang I found it.

Thanks for the invite from fj60guy!

I am in Tuscaloosa and my rig should be trail ready by then, or where I want it to be...anyway...think you guys can handle an 85 4Runner tagging along?

I'd like some more specific information about the nature of the trails, where you guys are camping, rig requirements other than Gray Rocks, which trails you guys are running and other things that are scheduled, etc. I don't want to read 5 pages of stuff, so can someone sum it all up for me in a response or point me somewhere that does. I've never been to Gray Rock even though I'm so close, but this sounds like a great time to go and w/ fello Toyota enthusiasts. Put me down as a yes, but I do need some more 411, the "boss" will ask questions!

I even lived in Gardendale several years ago before Gray Rock opened...so close, but yet so far!

:D

But the 5 pages are so interesting. Plus by the ride, this thread will be 10 pages!
Most of us have never been to GrayRock either, so welcome. If you're not comfortable with riding your rig, then you can ride the trails with me since I'm getting comfortable with denting mine lately.
On the damage note, I went to tellico this past weekend and camped at Crawford's (an experience to say the least) and I drove my 80 over the rock garden in the middle of camp, NO DAMAGE!
"It's a rock, get over it"

Wabbit, glad to see you found it. So far this is turning out to be a good sized event. Here's the run down: $75-80 to wheel-park fees. Camp at Gray rock(at park), go wheeling Friday afternoon/Sat. wheeling-Sat night cookout & social events....read in what you make of it. Sunday wheel & head home that simple. Trails range from mild to wild with bypasses on harder obsticles, check the page before this one & some pics are posted. Looks like heap's can do it we should't have problems.
If you need more info let us know.

Dates Oct.7/8/9

Put me down for Saturday wheeling and Sat night social events as I have other commitments Friday and Sunday, but I'll show up early Saturday morning and head home late Saturday night...but I'll see about wiggling out of the commitments in the meantime, lots of time for making up some good lies  j/k

:D

Rules at Grayrock include absolutely no glass containers. No Bud Light longnecks for Bodean. Also no consumption of alcoholic beverages on the trails. Can Bodean drink all he wants BEFORE hitting the trails, even if it IS from aluminum?

It doesn't matter what kind of container it comes from as long as it's beer that comes out of it!

I like BEER!! Cheese is good too. Yep, I like cheese

It's just a damn shame The White Trash ain't gonna be able to make this an official event. Dates fall right between ICBM and the GCC gig in Disney. If'n ya'll can firm up a date next year that ain't quite so close to ICBM, we'll be there in force. However ... in response to euclid's shameless plea for raffle prizes ... The White Trash ain't gonna forget our Redneck Brothers. I done made a Presidential-Type decision that we gonna donate two exclusive prize packages consisting of every one of our highly-coveted merchandise items that the Singin' Redneck done made/got made for us. That's right folks ... two lucky winners will receive an Official White Trash sticker, T-shirt, and hat. :bounce: :bounce2:

Carry on.

:flamingo:

Kowboy, you are the man! We will make sure the prize packages go to worthy recipients.

Thanks!

KickAss! Thanks Kowboy.
