I'm already committed to the NEA meeting the day before (at FnF) and Class VI road scouting after that or I would be there. Need to give at least part of the weekend to family time.

Care to add some more details?
What area are we going to be working?

two areas will be moderate and cut to the size of the vehicles that show up (80 series guys?) YT has the opportunity to cut a long trail as hard as they like it. one trail will be a perimeter trail from south to north on the right side of the property and one going through the middle somewhere to connect up to the buggy trails.

So who's going?

I have to play with those Jeep guys AGAIN?

OK!! Any blue, sand or pink Cruisers?

can't make this one. Just got back from TN and Mike drove a moderate trail on Saturday and the truck needs some attention.

So it's a full press to get the truck ready for Fall Gathering.

But if I do get some time before then maybe I can run the trail with a chainsaw in back and just hit the few trees that make it tight for a wagon in prep for Fall Gathering.

Good turn out today for the cut in Swanzey, about 20 rigs and maybe 30 people.
This is one LOOOOOOOONG trail! Figure that we split into 2 teams and ran from each end
we had about a total of 10 hours cutting time to get from start to end. Trail is on the hard end of Moderate.
I wouldn't want to take anything much bigger than a 4Runner thru it. But this is what you get when only Jeeps show up for the cuts. Not a lot of hills but there is plenty of rocks to climb as you weave in and out of the trees.
Junior, that off camber switch-back wasn't much of a problem, they went up it pretty easily.
Junior gets the award for the Tough Guy of the day. He threw his back out early but stayed most of the day doing what he could even tho it was pretty obvious that he was hurting.
We'll plan on running this at the FG, would suggest that long wheelbase rigs think twice about this one.

Appreciate the sentiments Lane, but you get the tough guy award!
Lane was in the front of the cut ALL day felling and bucking the large trees, stopping only long enough to refuel himself and his saw. And it wasn't a small saw either! Way to represent Lane!!!
Me? I just gimped along and watched everybody work:mad:
This trail has to be the most beautiful trail I've seen, scenery wise, with almost endless obsticals. And I didn't even see half of it! Can't wait to go back to this one!!!

Yea, arms feel like they are going to fall off this morning!
It is a very pretty trail, runs thru a section of forest that hasn't
been logged off yet. Nice stream that runs back and forth.
Would be a great spot for some camping. Maybe run both Wambus trails then
do half of this one and camp, then finish the next day.

I think we need to have a donor 80 go out with some 40's and we can
take out a few more trees so full sized rigs can get thru.
Right now nothing full sized will get thru with out some body damage.
It's tight.

I'm getting old and I can't keep up with you kids anymore! You guys had the easy side
anyway!
