All these Toyota keys, I even have one that matches!

Make me one. I just want to see my wife's reaction after I hang it up!
You could just borrow his for a day… sounds like she’d not let you keep it anyway. ;)

Parked since ‘97. RHD, PTO winch, Glass top, no body rot as far as I could see.

I’m considering tracking down the woman who owns it and seeing if she’d sell… :D

Anyone else interested? I’d consider a finders fee… :greedy: Cash or slave labour considered.

@GTSSportCoupe, @Diesel Cruiserman and others… what’s a 70 series RHD worth? I’m not really interested in owning one, but if I could flip it to pay for some bodywork on my 40 and/or a paint job, finishing it, etc… it’d be worth it.

I know how to find out the owner’s name, etc

I'm in! Shoot me a PM.

I'm interested too; but seems like I'm late to the party, haha.

Is it manual or auto? Turbo, or NA?

Looks like a BJ73 or HZJ73? (3B or 1HZ).

If that thing has been around here since '97, I don't even see how they could have insured it then with the 15 year import rule.

Some people think their old cruisers in that shape are worth a king's ransom...will be interesting to see.

John or @Diesel Cruiserman would likely know. It has a Radd Cruisers bumper sticker on it. Didn’t notice if it’s manual or auto. Badge on grill said “Diesel” on it.

Vancouver Island back roads map book in the back of the drivers seat. Also a water cooled V-twin crate motor wrapped in plastic… I’d guess a Goldwing motor.

If its the same truck the original owner has contacted me about finding this old rig. He is a good dude, drops by the metal shop from time to time.. My wife ordered a new Tacoma after getting the wheeling bug, tried talking her into a rig like this..

There can’t be that many 70 series JDM glass top SWB Landcruiser on the island that have a (Toyota ?) PTO winch on it… that are also that colour with a light blue interior. Although Radd Cruisers likely has seen a lot of the JDM cruisers, this one has a Radd Cruiser vinyl badge on the tailgate.

Just for you, Nick.

Looks pretty 'stealth' haha! Neat unit.

WTF^^^?

If you want a finders fee buy it and resell it with a proper/honest description of what it is....

Don't you get enough help and spare parts on the club board to just tell someone where it is if you're not going to buy it to restore / enjoy?

:flipoff2: :hillbilly:
