I don't wanna steal Jon's thunder, but I have 5 of the motors that I ordered from him a few months back. I just sold my 100 and never got around to replacing them. I'll sell them for what I paid for them if anyone wants them. Shoot me a pm.

Hi, I'm in for two if this deal is still live. Thanks and please advise.

I have sold all of the motors that I had...

I am also in for 2 if the deal is still going.

Shot ya a PM John... just checking if you are around and if you have any rear hatch motors... cheers!

I'm good for 3 if you're still ordering!!

It looks like I may have just fallen victim to this as well. I'll take at least 2 if still available?

Enlighten me are these door lock actuators prone to going bad or something? New 2001 LC owner here so please excuse any dumb noobie questions now and in the near future lol

Yes, they are prone to fail. Door locks will start by failing to lock/ unlock in really hot weather and eventually will fail to work at most any time. You can buy the entire door lock assembly from Toyota for a few hundred dollars or buy the small motor and rebuild the assembly for a few dollars.

Read through this thread for a lot more information.

I just don't know if Jon Harris is still around and still supplying these motors...

I also need some for my 03 LC. DS door just crapped out. Sounds like this source has dried up? Anybody know alternate suppliers?

Anybody know alternate suppliers?

I got a couple from eBay, or maybe it was Amazon, they are pretty common. Just search Mabuchi FC 280PT-22125. I don't know if the brass collar is important or not, a post said mine would have it, but the motor didn't when I took the actuator apart. The collar slid off the one I bought, I had to Dremel a flat spot onto the shaft.

How long have you had them installed?

About a year. Doors still lock with a vigor. It still surprises me every once in since they were so sluggish and quiet for so long.
