Have fun !:D took me awhile to figure things out also. but i'm sure you will get it . not sure if you noticed but the user manuals are on the dvd as well . they may help you get started in the right direction .or they may give you a headache. :bang: to much reading. just keep playing with it, it will all start to make sense.

Jake

Got the DVD and got it installed. Now just have to figure out how to use it... LOL

Thanks again!

So has anyone ever uploaded a parts price file? Yes, I have a real parts price spreadsheet. It's an xls that I've converted to csv. I'm trying to load it as "1 Kind Of Price (CSV) and it's not seeing my file... I'm decently puter savvy so you'd think I could figure it out, but I haven't been able to so far. Any ideas?

edit: yes, I'm following the instmanu.doc too btw.

edit i just reread your post .i see you are loading a file you have modified.

where did you get the price file, is it for sure the csv one . did you try all of the options
once you find the right option the epc will see the csv in the folder. did you put it in the TMCMSTW2 folder first , i have a couple differnt price files .
1 Kind of price file (CSV)
1 Kind of price file
3 kind of price
3 kind of price (CSV)

Voted "you will go to jail" - only cause your too clever ;);):p

My copy is still going strong and so far must have cost me about $200 in additional parts.

Toy should pay you a commision on sales.

Just a quick thanks to Jake for a good product.
I tried and tried to download all the files and install off various internet sources, but never could quite get it to work.

Thanks to his packaging of the files and the unzip program, even a computer moron like me was able to get this installed & running on my desktop. Shoulda just got the disc from him in the first place.

new disc's became available again :grinpimp:.check the newer dates,
these disc are copies tho, this time i did not actually aquire the real disc in my hand  but they still work .:grinpimp:

nothing different for the cruiser stuff tho , they have just added the newer toyota models to the program hey Mot check it out 100 series ,got it i think thats what we where talking about second pic

...
epc [800x600].webp
mot [800x600].webp

for anybody that has a copy of this and are subscribed to this thread .another method of install that seems a little bit less confusing . is to ..........
step.1
just do the extraction to C:drive first , then go back and run the EPC setup .it will say EPC already setup.
do you want to upgrade the program? just have to say yes .and it will install without asking for any info
such as which drive ,or file already exists do you want to overright? crap
there is less user input .less chance of error

basically do the extraction first and then do the EPC setup and say yes to upgrade ,thats it . once program upgraded.the EPC is ready to go .

Hi Jake, are the EPC still available? I have the old European version on my laptop and would like to have an up to date version on my main PC main reason being ive just took delivery of an oil pump I ordered from the U.S and it’s the wrong one as the old part number has been superseded with a new one

Thanks
Steve

I'm having a spot of difficulty getting it to access the files from my hard drive. When I go to CD setup, this is what I see:

When I try to add files to access, this is the error message I get:

screenshot_cd_setup_02.jpg

If anyone has tips on how to set this up, I'd appreciate it.

I had it working a year ago, but reformatted my hard drive and now that I have re-installed this EPC, I have apparently forgotten some key step.

It is extracted to C:/ and C:/TMCMSTW2 does show the 19 folders. I tried uninstalling the EPC and deleting the extracted files and then rebooting, but I'm still getting the same problem. The files aren't showing up in the CD Setup like they do on your installation video. I am running WinXP. I have tried setting the computer to execute the EPC in Win98 compatibility mode but that doesn't help.
