Agreed, super responsive through facebook, really helpful, seems like an all around good dude. Can't wait to receive mine and plug it in and have some fun.
I have one connected at all times now i ordered the third unit and I am going to split the cable so i can install the unit in the glove compartment
As opposed to securing it in the engine bay? My current plan involves plugging it in and using zip ties to secure it. I have an android head unit with app already installed, and plan to just leave it plugged in. I guess I should think of a more long term securing solution, as well as a 'prettier' one.
Engine bay is too hot (at least in the hot desert) i had the old previous model obd1read for 2 years and it died the last trip and i installed Toyocom instead
yes for 2 years then it got badDo you have the toyocom in the engine bay? Does it seem to hold up to the heat?
Does he have this working for the 3fe yet?
That kind of sucks. I was planning on installing and leaving it installed. I kind of thought that was the idea. I wish they made it with a few feet of cord so you could locate it some place else if the heat damages it.Engine bay is too hot (at least in the hot desert) i had the old previous model obd1read for 2 years and it died the last trip and i installed Toyocom instead
Mine started having difficulty connecting and staying connected after just a few weeks.
How are these working out for every one? Mine started having difficulty connecting and staying connected after just a few weeks. Hopefully I can get this rectified.
