Oh man. I think I want that trailer but I would only offer him $150.

Update time. I took some pictures of the exhaust I put together. The downpipes are interesting. Don't have a bender so I got creative.

Whoops. Hit the submit button before loading the pictures. There is a reason I spend more time in a barn working on cruisers instead of dinking around with computers:doh:

Also I test fitted the pig in the garage. And it actually fits! I was surprised. 38's and fits in the garage!

I got that cv added into the rear driveshaft and it drives fantastic now. So when I can get some new used tires that aren't 15.50 wide it will drive even better I hope.

Yes. Dirt. I will get right on that.

took a family drive. wifey two young'ns and me went over guardsman pass and took a couple side roads. looks like my clutch master is leaking a bit.....time for a new one. And should be only a few bucks due to my shiny new job as a parts guy at the local parts store.

long time since update. My engine started making a light tapping noise that sounds like a valve but is not. It has been decided that it is piston wrist pin or piston slap. So pigtown is going to get a new engine. Swapping out the shortblock for one that I have mothballed. So hopefully I have some time to get that knocked out. I got a new job working on cruisers starting jan 3rd. Should be interesting to see where this new job takes me and pigtown in the future.

I'm not ready to go diesel yet. Mainly because they are the opposite of affordable. Cruiser job not in heber. Super duper busy still so engine swap probably won't happen till january. Kinda of excited to do an engine. Haven't done one in years.

Nice rig I like the way you think!

I also have issues with my 55 out flexing the 60" hi-lift... the trick I use is to wrap a chain over the frame and under axle then hook, lift with hi-lift and the axle won't droop...

I really like what you did with the rear seat, does it still fold down? any more pics?

Keep up the awesome work! Aaron

What the hell is goin on with Pigtown.Im thinking you should get on that 40 as well.Moab in May

there is pretty much no way the 40 is gonna make it. I have several things I would really like to iron out before pigtown makes it to moab. That list is new steering arms with arp studs and change up the heims to a heavier duty, would really like to change to a splitcase behind the 203 box, and change the leaf springs on the front. and of course new used tires...

Very much appreciate the nod of approval. Yes I plan on a strap or chain from axle to frame for tire changes, hopefully won't have to use it too often. Backseat no longer folds down sadly. But I do very much like the increased foot space and the excellent view from the backseat. I'm sure I will spend some time back there wheeling when wifey is driving and I get to sit in the back and keep my baby boy company.

so I'm a moron. pig wasn't starting so i thought the solenoid was no bueno. so I went to get a new starter and thought While I was changing it anyway I should upgrade to a newer model starter off a newer truck that way it would be smaller higher torque and less weight. I put it in and still no bueno. fooled around with that for awhile then finally figured out it was a loose ground. But I successfully got a smaller starter. So basically there is the old school massive heavy starter then a medium sized one from 89 to 94 then an even smaller one 95 and up basically. The smallest one is tiny and weighs relatively nothing compared to the big one. But it's kind of expensive even though I get it at cost. I need to save some pennies and get the tiny one before I quit....

So you used an FZJ80 starter?
