another toyota guy

just came across your local cruiser group ,i,m a ks,mo conc. const contracter pouring walls for a living 35+yrs,. have been dd an FJ for over 2 yrs and spending way to much money on mods. my wife and i have ran a few trails (she's really not crazy about it but does for my interest ), in several states on our own mostly expedition style i,ve spent a lot a time bouncing around the forums ,they have been very useful ,do you as a group include fj's if so what would my next move for info be FRED

Welcome! We include just about everything that is a Toyota 4WD, FJ's included. We have a few FJ owners in the club so you won't be alone.

Send a PM (personal message) to TwoOldCrows (Peggy Sears) who handles membership. She can get the sign-up form to you. Best thing about membership is you can get a great discount from Molle Toyota on repair and maintenance parts for your FJ.

Our website is under re-construction so at this time watch this area to see what we have planned. If you are available, there is a group of people heading down to Disney Oklahoma next weekend. On 4/17 we will be heading to Tuttle Creek ORV park north of Manhattan, KS and I know there will be an FJ there.

Howdy All,

Names Christos, most people call me Stos. I'm originally from Houston Texas and moved up here to KC for the job back in 2007. Been an avid outdoors lover and pretty new to off-roading. Been riding shotgun with Michael in his FJ Cruiser who got me excited about off. Just recently yesterday in fact bought a modified 1985 Toyota Hilux. To everyone I have met so far you ya'll are amazing, and if I haven't met you yet hope to do so.

Till our next outing,
Stos

Welcome Mike...glad you found the group. This is a good bunch of folks.

Welcome Mike & Lindsay, Hope to see you out there. Few of us are hitting the KC rocks 101 course 2 weeks from now if you can make it out there.

I'm Corbin, I'm from Columbia Missouri. I'm all over the place when it comes to hobbies and jobs, My normal income is as a freelance photographer but i will usually do any odd job for some extra cash. If you're on FJCruiserforum.com then you'll see me over there as well. I've got a 2007 FJ Cruiser 6MT with a demello 3 hoop bumper along with 5% window tint and a Uniden PC78LTW with a 20w PA speaker. I've got more on my agenda for it but thats all I can afford as of right now. I've gone up to Hannibal rocks a couple of times with some FJCF buddies and had a BLAST so I hope I can find a new group and continue wheeling.

Here's a picture of the FJ:

hope this works here.... Please move if not !!

Wasnt sure where to post this, but I saw a very nice cruiser in Topeka that had a Tornado Alley sticker and couldnt catch him to give him a flyer. This event is a great time all about fun and carnage if you choose.

New 80 Series Owner

Hi everyone, My name is Scott and I picked up a 1994 Landcruiser (no lockers unfortunately) as a daily driver for my family (wife, 2 kids and one more on the way). Previously had a 1992 4Runner that I just sold with 235,000 miles which obviously treated me well and have always wanted a Cruiser...so now I have one!

Getting ready to do some maintenance (valve cover gasket, distributor o-ring, etc.) to try and slow down some oil leaks but overall she looks to be a solid vehicle.

We are mostly down in Olathe, so look for a stock, white 80 series and I will get the TLCA sticker on the back window as soon as it shows up (waiting word back from TAC membership to get signed up).

Look forward to meeting some of you at meetings, wrench weekends, etc.

If you paid TLCA online they get processed as they come in. Postage probably won't take that long since it's across town. Your membership packet for TLCA is independent from your magazine also. If it's been a while since you joined and you still don't have your packet feel free to holler.. I know someone that can check on the status.

Hey all my name is Wade and I am a Toyotaholic! I have been hanging out with the club the last 2 summers at the Asher Farm and just attended my first club run to SMORR. My wife Gina and I had a great time. If you attended the Fall run I am sure you saw me with my boxer Sammie. Hope to see everyone again real soon. Wade

YOur boxer can really run! :)

Hello,
I am somewhat new to the FJ life. I bought a 71 FJ40 and have completely restored it with 76 model upgrades. I have been working on it for a couple years and am so close to driving it. I have just a few little items i need help with. Do you know of anyone in the Kansas City area that works on 40's?? Thanks!
