So when do you start shopping for new shoes Lane? 37? 38? 39? :hhmm:

Big $ item there!
I have to pay off the welder loan before I even think about new tires.
Gary has a screaming deal on his 36" Irok's, if the cash were present I'd go with them.
36 or 37's, the goal is to still be able to drive to trails.
No matter what tires I get I'll have to regear the diff's. This is a very
long term project!

bout time
60 axles?
whose kit is that?
looks fairly complete

Ooh! So you decided to keep the TIG welder?

TIG, man. It's the only way to fly.

I TIGed a front driveshaft the other day for the next episode of "The N8 show", but we'll see. I might be guest starring.

Nope, Tig is still for sale, (still owe on the mig) Price is reduced to $850.

The kit is from RuffStuff. I still have to figure out which springs I want to use and source them first.
Right now I have parts for the SM420 at Novak being modified, when they get back
I'll need to lure Junior back over and we can put it all back together.
Have a gift cert. from the FG raffle to Cruiser Outtfitters which will pay for new T-case
flanges that will fit the bolt pattern of my driveshafts. Just need to order them.

hey, why are my pinions leaky?
Hey, why are my driveshafts so short?
HEY, why is my tranny falling out?

My u-bolts are tight!

sounds personal

I however trashed another tranny mount and subsequently tweaked me crossmember bouncin around last week

seems to be a weak link;have had to replace before.
But, at $5.99, it works:D

:wrench:ready for more whuppin.....:steer:

Talked with Novak about the SM420 part the were working on.
The teeth of on of the gears had some damage which would have probably
been OK to run with. We decided to replace the whole thing with one that the had.
An additional $70 but things will be right.
I appreciate that they took the time to get in touch with me about it.

Here's a link to what they are doing, scroll all the way to the bottom of the page.

well I haven't had AC working in the truck for a couple of years now and have been a total buffoon in grasping the idea of how to find that damn leak.

Well I might have finally figured out the process and could have it working tomorrow for a cool ride south in a couple of weeks.

i don't post here much and i don't have pictures of it but i just took a 40th anniversary cruiser and swapped a diesel into AND a 5 speed. it was kinda fun.
