$1875 for an 80 series. My wife wants me to buy it (yes, you read that right) but unfortunately all our cash has to go towards building our basement suite at the moment. Somebody should take advantage of this... Andrew? Swap the steering and dash over to make yours LHD...? And third row seats for more babies!!!

thanks for the link, I just sent fellow a PM. Anyone want to go part-sies on this one? I claim the stuff for LHD conversion though :D

Ill take the rear axle.
And Ill come for the drive to get it.

Sure is cheap.

I will pay 1/3 the price = $600 for:
-wheels
-3rd row seats and seatbelts
-cut-out of rear floor for seat mounts
-rear sliding windows
-right-hand side mirror

I will also come for the trip if you go on a weekend!

Looking into the logistics of this... it looks possibly do-able, the problem is that I don't have a place where both vehicles can sit while we do the work. :crybaby:

you could rent a little shop for the operation, a one month rental would probably do it if you fly at it. Just don't be like Dan, and still be renting the shop a year later...

Once you flog the leftover parts from the 80, it should pretty much have payed for itself.
then it's just a question of getting rid of the carcass, and after the vulturs have decended on it, there wouldn't be all that much left anyways...

Army trailer Esquimalt & View Royal, Victoria

shame it doesn't have a lid, tailgate rack or full floater 45 axle under it...:flipoff2:

I went and had a look at this one a month or so ago. Its a Bantam C-3. It has been modified (widened) as it used to have a mobile raido repeater and generator in it. Thats why the lines of the trailer are all off a bit. Rusty underneath.

These are rare and older than a 101, but the fact that this one had been buggered with made me pass.

It also sports a 5gallon overhaul.

No lid, no gate etc... but it does carry the illusive title: "for sale".

Tis the season for warmth and giving you know Ryan..... tis also the season of trailer consumption (apparently)

I'm going to buy a tent trailer and modify it (ala Cam) with wooden skiis, then DRAG it while wheeling :hillbilly:

But not backwards. That breaks birfs.

christmas sucks.

pisses me off that I can't go into a store after halloween without hearing that godawful retarded music piped in.

besides, this is all part of the plan, baiting, jigging, setting hooks. I'm using an old CIA mind control technique on you, eventually you'll have this overwhelming compulsion to show up with an enourmous fistful of money because you get the shakes, and the pasties when you think about not doing it.

That and the boler is presently pissing me off as it's cutting into my boat building time, so I may hang onto the m101 for a while yet. :hillbilly:
