if that thing was in just average shape, it would be and absolute bargin. how ever as is, its a 10 k mog on a good day if you know what too look for.

in good shape, a 40k mog all day long.

I want to say he 'accidentally' placed one too many zeros but we all know that isn't the case. Man alive. You have to think that it will sit there forever and a day with a price like that.
Believe it or not, an acquaintance of mine bought that exact truck, garage kept, for $500. Seriously.

Now that is a deal, this is lunacy. Even if the truck was mint, with low kilometers, no rust and garage kept all its life. It's still a bone stock gas 60 with an auto. The value and appeal just isn't there.

Very odd, but not a bad idea in a way. I would like the full aluminum body that Land Rover made, especially the older ones, and the drivetrain of a diesel Land Cruiser. It would make a long lasting, reliable truck.

Their were about dozen ex military rovers for sale on GC Surplus last month in various states of dis-repair (most for parts only). Those pics look like they were right off the auction site.... I wonder if he even owns it yet or is gauging interest before bidding.
