It seems he has upped the price to $6500.

I just might check it out. Anyone have any impressions on this rig or what to look out for?

ha, I just saw that too. What to look out for? everything. The price jumping would make me cautious but it still might be a good project for the right price. I would carefully inspect everything for rust and previously modified components. If something has been patched but done badly, it would need to be redone and then you're dealing with having to fix someone else's screw ups that could potentially hide bigger problems.
