That is not my FJ80. That is the TJM project they built in 3 days. There is a thread in the 80 section on their build which should have tire specs.

Forgot to share the drive home from expo fun on Sunday...... Sounded like a bomb went off under the hood when it blew! Shut it off and heard it percolating for a sec before she let go... Time now all new hoses, water pump and fan clutch...... Looks like the prior owner just did a thermostat....BTW, what makes rubber hoses go soft? Never seen such mush hose before!!!!!!!

Wow! Cooling system overhaul time!

That hose really failed marvelously! Did the hose go soft or was it dry rotted?

Yikes! Excess pressure in the cooling system from a blown head gasket could do that...
Better check the PHH and other coolant hoses while you have the system drained.

Oh it was cool when it blew..... At first I thought a freeze plug let go.....
Soft as sponge..... No dry rot, looks like they were done at some point in the past, but never seen them sponge up like this.... Two hoses looked like they were ballooning (if there is such a thing):)

Yea we thought about it...... But motors got good compression all away across, no oil in the water or water in oil, temp runs good and idles like a stroked cat..... We know the radiator cap and 3 hoses were bad and we are thinking the ballooning hose could be a part of that problem we had with a little boil over push back into the overflow tank when we shut engine off........ Will see... Fingers crossed

Now that your build is complete....

I'm currently in Puerto Rico and I just ordered some of your equipment on an order from MetalTech... Mainly your panhards along with other MetalTech gear.

I like some of your equipment but your website seems to have problems with missing items or no pictures on a lot of products.

I would like to order your set of side bars to install into my IronMan bumper, I'm sure I could make them fit? anyways I dont see them listed on your web so I dont know how much they are and if you ship to PR...

I dont do rock crawls but I do a lot of mud & trails and they seem they could protect some agains mud walls and accidental slides.

Plese let me know how much they run and an estimated shipping to PR zip code 00961.. or where I can see them online..

THANKS!

I was planning on replacing my water pump and associated hoses this weekend as PM and here I thought I was being overkill, based on your experience I'd say not.

Thanks for posting!
