Just on a word of caution, we have had two units fail for no reason. Superlift did replace them, and in both cases the jumper plug was there to put it back to stock.
 
Yes. If you don't do the speedo gear thing or the TruSpeed, your speedometer will read slower than your true speed and your odometer will read less than your true miles covered.

Seems to be a 1 to 1 correlation -- if your speedo is off by 5%, then your odometer is off by 5%.

Since I've gone up to 315/75/16 MTRs, I've noticed that my speedometer and odometer are now off by 10% (they read 10% low).

No that's ok, I don't need that much notoriety. My first unit had an issue when cold but once warmed up it work fine. SuperLift did replace that one as well and it has worked fine ever since, probably almost 3 years now.
